TUTORIALS are an opportunity to present introductory and advanced applications of 3D web technologies to students and to experienced practitioners. Tutorial subjects can include practices for authoring interactive 3D scenes and in using 3D graphics in diverse application areas. Especially welcome are tutorials devoted to widely-used software and web applications, which can be presented in hands-on sessions at the conference. For the Web3D 2018 edition, we are looking for high quality tutorial submissions of 45 minutes to 1.5 hours in length to teach the audience the fluent application of such technologies.
A Web3D tutorial proposal submission (1 page) should include:
Submitters should also inform the committee about the intended duration and audio/visual support requirements. Submitted tutorials do not have to present purely scientific contributions, but should provide an experience with the presented techniques which is valuable to the greater community. If accepted, proposers will be asked to provide a biography paragraph for each presenter, a representative image, and publishable course notes suitable for use in the conference web site and promotional materials.
The submission deadline is May 1, 2018. To submit a tutorial proposal use the Web3D 2018 EasyChair Page or the e-mail address tutorials@web3d2018.org.
